Climate change is the biggest challenge of the 21st century and therefore also a crucial issue for the future of today's students!
An educational programme which addresses the causes and consequences of climate change, but also the opportunities for concrete action, is an essential part of a social rethink. The project „Climate change: understanding it and taking action“ initiated by Dr. Cecilia Scorza and Prof. Harald Lesch represents such an offer!
The climate kit
... is the core of the programme. With a total of 12 experiments and activities, the scientific background and impacts of climate change can be experienced experimentally by students.
In order to satisfy the demand in schools throughout Germany, we need your support with start-up funding!
Climate change: understanding it and taking action
The climate kit is part of a comprehensive educational programme which invites school groups to experimentally explore the scientific background and consequences of climate change, to actively help shape the energy transition and to take concrete action in groups. Climate kit – Financing and production
The kits are produced in Caritas workshops by people with disabilities and can then be purchased by schools at cost price. Start-up funding is needed for the materials and production costs of the first batch. We receive part of the funds needed for this from foundations and collect the rest through donations.
