About the presentation

Our economy is based on the expectation of future growth; money and money creation are a measure for a bet on a better future. Without this expectation, the economy would collapse and along with it the social structures. The narrative of our time is: "everything is getting better and better". But is that even possible without destroying our livelihoods? The answer is "yes," and it must involve the financial sector and markets, as I will discuss in my presentation using examples such as the EU Action Plan for Financing Sustainable Growth, Sustainable Finance, and cooperative models that are not at all outdated.
