Personal details

Harald Lesch is Professor of Astrophysics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Professor of Philosophy at the "Hochschule für Philosophie" in Munich and a science journalist. Since 2014, Harald Lesch has been involved in the advisory board of the "Heraeus Bildungsstiftung", and since October 2015 he has been a member of the "Bayerischer Klimarat". Both he and his work have been honored with numerous awards, including the "Bayerischer Verdienstorden", the "Urania-Medaille" for "extraordinary commitment to science education" and the "Ehrennadel" of the "Deutschen Physikalischen Gesellschaft".

About the presentation

In his lecture, Prof. Lesch will include current data and examples to introduce the topic of climate change and education for climate protection.
