Draw by lots for 200 climate kits
Two hundred climate kits were given away to Bavarian schools in a draw by lots, financed by the Bayerisches Staatsministeriums für Umwelt und Verbraucherschutz.
The winning schools have been chosen.

Winners of the 200 climate kits have been chosen / Bonus prize goes to Oberbayern
Almost 500 grammar schools in Bavaria took part in the climate kit draw. Now the 200 winners have been chosen. Bavaria's Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber emphasised at the draw today in Munich:
“Climate change has long been perceptible in Bavaria. The current climate report shows that the average temperature in Bavaria could rise by up to a maximum of 4.8 degrees Celsius by 2100 compared to the period from 1971 to 2000 if we do not take climate protection actions. It is therefore all the more important that the younger generation already deals intensively with the issue. We must act now. With the climate suitcases, we can bring climate protection to Bavaria's schools. The students can experience firsthand how climate change works. From the head straight into the heart: the students can experience in concrete terms how climate change works and take along ideas for coping with it.”
The climate kit was developed in recent years at the Faculty of Physics at LMU Munich with the aim of making the causes and impacts of climate change experimentally tangible.
Two hundred of these climate kits have now been given away to Bavarian schools in a draw of lots financed by the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.
