Book recommendation: Erneuerbare Energien ohne heiße Luft
Ingeniously prepared and humorous book on the energy transition, which shows the potential of the individual energy sources in a scientific but mathematically understandable way (also for schoolchildren!) and answers the question of how much energy our modern lifestyle requires and whether we can afford it at all from renewable sources.
The e-book is available for free download for Kindle here and for Tolino e.g. here.
The presentation of the book is also highly recommended.

Book Recommendation: Renewable Energies to Understand and Talk About
How many cyclists would theoretically have to pedal for us in the background to satisfy our hunger for energy?
Like the basic work "Eruerbare Energien ohne heiß Luft," this book, which received an award from the Stiftung Buchkunst, shows the potential of renewable energy sources and answers the question of how much energy our modern lifestyle requires and whether we can cover it at all from renewable sources.
Based on this book, teaching modules for lower secondary schools were developed as part of the educational program Climate Change: Understanding and Acting. The presentation on the book is also highly recommended.
