Kick-off in Baden-Württemberg
Thomas Lanners from myclimate Deutschland gGmbH, together with project manager Dr. Sabine Graf and with the support of the Prediger Foundation, organized the kick-off for Baden-Württemberg on 20.07.2023 in Freiburg.
The first teacher training course in Baden-Württemberg for the educational program "Climate change: understand and act" took place at Wentzinger Gymnasium. The event was attended by 12 teachers from Freiburg, 2 consultants from the ZSL (Center for School Quality and Teacher Training) and 4 teachers from Lörrach.
The event was organized by our project partner Thomas Lanners from myclimate Deutschland gGmbH. The two schools in Lörrach were equipped with LMU climate kits from Sparkasse Lörrach. The Freiburg schools each received 5 LMU climate kits and two thermal imaging cameras. In addition, the ZSL regional office in Freiburg also received 2 LMU climate kits from the newly established Prediger Foundation. The presence of the founder, Sandra Prediger, underlined the importance of the topic for her.
