Multipliers training in the Alp Dillingen
From 21. September to 23. September 2022, a teacher training for the multipliers of the LMU climate kit in Bavaria took place at the "Akademie für Lehrerfortbildung und Personalführung" in Dillingen
These multipliers will soon host teacher training sessions themselves in their districts. Thanks to the very generous support of "Bayerische Sparkassenstiftung", the participating schools will receive two LMU climate kits and a thermal imaging camera. In addition, all multipliers will be provided with a multiplier set by "Bayerische Sparkassenstiftung" to perform the trainings on site.
The teacher training for the multipliers was given by the teachers Moritz Strähle, Markus Keßelring and Thomas Keßelring under the direction of Susanne Dührkoop the coordinator for physics at Alp Dillingen. The participants from all over Bavaria were welcomed by the director and initiator of the educational program Dr. Cecilia Scorza. This was followed by lectures of Prof. Dr. Harald Lesch and Prof. Dr. Bernhard Mayer from the Faculty of Physics of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, as well as by Philipp Pacius on the topic "Klimaschule Bayern".
The teacher training was very educational and productive. The participants were so eager to learn and enthusiastic that they had to be pushed to call it a day in the evenings. We are delighted that we were able to gain such motivated and committed multipliers with the help of our partners.
As the team of the educational program, we are of course also pleased that we received a lot of positive feedback on our materials.
