Consequences of climate change
The anthropogenically enhanced greenhouse effect has global and regional consequences. These include changes in temperature and precipitation, a decline in snow and ice, a rise in sea level, acidification of the oceans and significantly more frequent weather extremes. Compared to the rest of the world, Germany is particularly affected by climate change. This concerns on the one hand the average surface temperature compared to the global average and on the other hand the number of extreme weather events. The aim of the module is to present these effects, which are already noticeable today.
